Introduction

Rescue Scheme for Belgian Shepherds

Are you willing to take in a rescue 'Belgian' ?

Please look under ' Dogs Available'. If there are no rescue dogs currently available and you are willing to take on a dogs that needs a new home please your name and detials to us by eMail or by contacting any one on the list below:

Do you have a 'Belgian' you can't keep ?

If you have a dog that you can not keep for whatever reason FIRST :

  • Inform the breeder of that dog.

Most breeders will take dogs that they have bred back for re-homing

          themselves.

  • Be honest about the dog's traits and behavior.

Any potential new Owner deserves to have as much information about the Dog

before taking it into their home. It is unfair to pass problems on to others.

  • Do not wait until the last moment

Your dog has been a good companion to you - return the favour by making every

effort to find him/her a suitable home.     Read the 'How could you' story.

About our Rescue Scheme

The Rescue Scheme facilitates the re-homing of the

Four Varieties of Belgian Shepherd Dogs only

( other breeds will be referred on to the relevant Breed's Rescue Scheme )

We keep a register of:

  • Dogs in need of a new home and

  • People willing to take on adult dogs.

We do not have 'in-house' facilities to accommodate rescue dogs.

Any conditions of re-homing are for the Previous and New Owners to agree upon between themselves. The Rescue Scheme accepts no liability for whatever reason.
